Nice Bathroom Shelf

I'm here again. Always excited to blog about my nest. We just finished painting our whole nest. Correction we didn't paint it all by ourselves - hubby and Me, we hired a painter since we really don't have the knowledge to paint it properly and besides we wanted the output to be presentable not to be abstract hahaha :) just wait for my post about my newly painted nest. Anyway back to the bathroom, I saw this again in IKEA I love the glass shelves at the side of the sink. The mirror with wall lamp and of course, wow! the cabinets. I wish I could find the same material. This bathroom was really organized and it seems that once you sit down on that toilet bowl, you will feel you don't want to go out. I hope hubby and Me will save a lot to make this dream bathroom come true.

My Dream Knife

This is the Wusthof Classic Black Chef's Knives. When I was in hongkong I always eyeing this kind of knife hoping they will be on sale. Unfortunately, even a single cent didn't. This brand is really great because you can use it for a lifetime. It's really durable and quality tested. When I checked the price in dollar whoa!!!! Well, I will just always looked at this picture to fulfill my dream LOL ;)

Painting Glossary

Were not yet through in painting our nest. The outside part is still bare and still need to save some money because it will still  cost thousand of pesos OMG!!! This glossary is very helpful so we can pick the right quality of the paint.

                                                                     Painting Glossary

Ever wander into a paint store and get brain freeze as you're sorting through paint chips, trying to figure out the difference between finishes? Here's the deal:

Latex paint is best for most jobs, including walls and trim. It’s easy to clean up (because it’s water-based), has less of an odor, and dries more quickly than oil-based paint.

Oil paint has a very durable finish, good for wood surfaces in high-traffic areas (like doors or hallway trim) or high-moisture areas (like a bathroom). It's difficult to clean up, if left to dry more than 1 hour.

Flat finish is a no-shine finish, good for covering imperfections on your walls. It won’t wash well, so it’s not good for high-traffic spots.

Eggshell finish has a slight sheen (good for busy areas because blemishes can wash away). Use it in the kitchen, bathroom, living room, and hallways.

Semigloss finish is shiny and washable, ideal for setting apart doors and windowsills from surfaces with flat paint. Use for trim, shutters, bathroom, and kitchen.

High-gloss finish is super-shiny and very durable. Used mostly for trim and floors.

Low-VOC paint can often be mixed to order in different finishes. Its base is odorless and better for you and the environment.

Wall Shelves

I found this wall shelves at the IKEA hongkong. When I was in hongkong I've always checked this store for they have so many beautiful and affordable home appliances. I really missed shopping in this store with my cousin. Unfortunately, there's no IKEA in the Philippines. I hope there will be someday. Anyway, I save this photo for my reference because my nest is small, wall cabinets are very accessible.

In the next few days, I will post some picture so, wait for it :) As of now I'm busy surfing the net for some decorations that will add spice to our nest. I'm also looking for sale items in kitchen utensils, since I love to cook ;) Happy reading to all. Your comments are very much welcome :)
